Turrakana

This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.

The 28-hectare Turrakana property features all the elements for camping adventures surrounded by nature. Located near Nubeena on the Tasman Peninsula, the open pasture is encircled by native forest with views to Norfolk Bay.

Arrive here by vehicle from Nubeena, accessing the property via the Nubeena Back Road. The campsite is best suited to 4WD vehicles and self-contained 4WD campers who must bring their own toilet/shower facilities, drinking water and supplies.

No pets are allowed due to the native fauna. Campfires are permitted in the dedicated fire pit locations. Roaring Beach and White Beach are only a short drive away for swimming in fresh, pristine waters. The native dry eucalyptus forest supports an abundance of wildlife. Explore the slopes to discover the wombats, quolls, potoroos and wallabies and look to the skies for the nesting pair of wedge-tailed eagles.
