This willingness to wait and an attitude of quality above all else (even the bank account) kept Domaine A quietly at the forefront of Australian winemaking until Peter and Ruth’s retirement in 2018, when they handed over to the new custodians: Moorilla winemaker Conor van der Reest and Mona owner David Walsh.

At the cellar door, Domaine A pairs Bordeaux-inspired wines with curated European style cheese and charcuterie grazing that celebrates provenance.

Bookings for wine tastings are highly advised, though walk-ins are welcome (subject to availability). Bookings for cheese, charcuterie or the Bordeaux Pantry Experience are essential.
