ROSLYN 1823 is a nearly 200-year-old historic homestead in the picturesque Coal River Valley in Tasmania.

The heritage-listed building is one of the oldest estates in Tasmania. A stunning Georgian building, entirely made of convict bricks with an imposing tower as a unique feature. The site’s original features can be admired throughout.

Back in the day convicts made and fired bricks on-site, to be used in the building of nearby historic Richmond, one of Tasmania’s top tourist attractions.

Today ROSLYN 1823 is a permaculture vineyard and farm, producing exclusive cool climate wines.

Book a Private Tour and invite up to eight guests to join you on your exclusive tour. Spend an hour with the owner of a boutique Tasmanian vineyard. Visit the vines to learn about setting up and running a permaculture vineyard.

Relax and appreciate tasting wines in one of Australia’s oldest cellar door at ROSLYN, a charming heritage-listed property dating back to 1823.

Step back in time when entering the historic homestead to admire the original cobblestoned stables, kitchen, smoke room, as well as the parlor and music room.

Three bottles of your choice will be opened for you and are fully included in the tour. See and taste the difference!

Private tours are available via pre-booking only! Hobart – Cambridge – Richmond – ROSLYN 1823
