Longford Riverside Caravan Park is ideally located to the south of Launceston, Tasmania on the banks of the picturesque Macquarie River.
The park offers quality sites, riverbank walks and fishing. Accommodation includes 100 powered sites, all with sullage and water. There are 50 additional un-powered sites, some located on the riverbank. The park also has six deluxe on-site caravans and These sleep two guests and all have electric blankets, television, heating and a kitchen. One of them has a bunk bed. The on-site deluxe caravans have a toilet and bathroom Deluxe Caravans overlook the beautiful Macquarie River
Facilities include two amenity blocks, laundry facilities, camp kitchen and barbecue area. Wi-Fi available.
There is an easy walk to shops close-by and the park is an ideal base for day trips in the northern region. Take a short drive to Woolmers National Rose Gardens or plan a bushwalk in the Great Western Tiers. Spend a day fly-fishing at Great Lake or make your way down the Tamar Valley Wine Route, and explore the Macquarie River, or fish from the riverbank.
Longford is a 20-minute drive (27 km) from Launceston.
