Studio Waterloo is award-winning Tasmanian Artist Henrietta Manning’s working studio, set in the beautiful Huon Valley.
Visit for a unique art experience within the walls of a historic Apple Packing Shed. See the artist’s busy working areas, the muses, research and tools behind the work. View a changing gallery display and/or browse those works hiding in the racks. Be the first to see and hear about new work in progress. Learn about the life of an artist and the stories behind the work directly from the artist.
Manning is a Contemporary Realist painting predominately from life, with subject matter across all genres. Close up marks are painterly, but step back and all falls into place. A finalist in art prizes such as the Glover, Wynne, Alice, Waterhouse, Portia Geach, Alice Bale and Mosman in Australia, and the Summer Exhibition, England. Recipient of an Australia Council New Work Established Grant in 2005. Residencies include two with the Hill End Residency Program, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, NSW.
