Take an easy 30-minute drive from Hobart and find yourself at Amaze Richmond, located at the entrance to the historic town of Richmond, in the delightful Coal River Valley.
Explorers of all ages will love the two incredible mazes. The challenge in the Hedge Maze is to discover all 31 native Tasmanian animals hidden throughout the many winding paths. Can you find the platypus?
In the Timber Maze there are codes to crack, a hidden tunnel and a lookout. And beware, there are doors that can be opened and closed to change the paths in the maze – so it is probably going to be different every visit!
Browse through the proudly Tasmanian Amaze Gift Shop supporting local makers and artists. Miniature versions of the metal animals hidden in the Hedge Maze are the perfect souvenir of your day.
After all that activity, enjoy a delicious meal or snack, expertly prepared by Head Chef, Ben Coleman, and his talented team. Ben’s focus is on simple food done spectacularly well. He also features locally sourced Tasmanian produce to satisfy both foodies and families alike.
Amaze caters for all ages and abilities and schools or groups of any size are very welcome. The mazes and the facilities are pram and wheelchair friendly.
Amaze Richmond is both the journey and the destination. Find yourself at Amaze Richmond.
