Introducing Cam Blake, a passionate and accredited wilderness and landscape photographer, as well as a dedicated tourism operator from southern Tasmania, Australia.
Cam’s photographic journey began around the age of 16, and since then, he has traversed through various photographic genres, from capturing the magic of weddings to creating compelling commercial imagery. However, it is landscape photography that truly resonates with his soul, and he considers himself fortunate to call the Tasmanian wilderness his workplace, where he conducts inspiring photography workshops and tours across the state and beyond.
When it comes to choosing the most captivating locations for his lens in Tasmania, Cam’s heart is drawn to the iconic Cradle Mountain and the enchanting Southwest National Park, as well as the rugged beauty of the Tarkine region. These places hold a special allure for him, always promising the perfect moments to be captured and constantly pulling him back to their breathtaking landscapes.
Cam’s dedication to showcasing the natural beauty of Tasmania through his lens is a testament to his love for the wilderness, and his work is a source of inspiration for both locals and visitors to this remarkable island. So, if you’re seeking to explore Tasmania’s enchanting landscapes through the eyes of a seasoned photographer, Cam Blake is your ideal guide, ready to unveil the hidden treasures of this stunning region.
Cam is also the host of the popular podcast, Down South Photo Show, along with his co-host Brendan Waites. Their love for capturing the beauty of the outdoors shines through as they share insights, tips, and tricks to help you elevate your photography skills.
